About Us: The West Perth Football District is one of nine football districts in the WA metropolitan area and manages junior and community football throughout the two local government areas of Wanneroo and Joondalup (a combined population of over 250,000 people) both of which are anticipating strong population growth over the next 10-15 years.

The West Perth Football District is responsible for strategically planning the growth of all levels of football in the West Perth Boundary, which includes players, coaches, umpires, administration and volunteers. This ensures competitions of a consistently high level of administration, opportunities for players of all levels to play and the development of talent pathways for players to reach elite levels of football, namely the WAFL or AFL competitions.

The West Perth District consists of 9 junior and 7 senior football clubs. Participation numbers are in excess of 4000 junior and 1000 senior footballers with an additional 20000 school children participating in district school footy programs.

Senior/Amateur Clubs: Ocean Ridge AFC, Quinns Districts AFC, Wanneroo AFC, Whitford AFC, Yanchep FC (Mercantile League), Joondalup Women’s FC (WA Women’s Football League), Northern Warriors Vets.
