Salecic striving for Falcons return
Club legend Jason Salecic is striving to make a comeback to playing WAFL football again for his beloved West Perth. Retiring after the 2013 Premiership, the 213 game veteran is on track for a return to league ranks in 2021.
Salecic has been an Assistant Coach for the past three seasons overseeing the forwards and playing a critical leadership role in the development of several players, however the lure of getting back to playing has been a driving force for Jason to return to full fitness over the pre-season.
Whilst its early days and there is still plenty of markers that Jason needs to tick off, the early signs are that he is on track. The former Captain and Breckler Medallist will bring a wealth of experience to the group as well as help our current leaders drive standards for the younger players coming through.
Salecic is hungry for success and hopes he can help the Falcons go one better than last year’s Preliminary Final finish.
