AFL School Ambassador Program
AFL School Ambassadors are passionate teachers and staff who commit to actively and positively promote our great game in their school.
The program was launched in 2004 by the Minister for Education and Director General at Subiaco Oval.
More than 1000 WA teachers have been inducted into the program to date.
AFL School Ambassadors are supported with the following:
- Professional development sessions
- Role description
- Access to intra-school and inter-school programs and competitions
- Lesson ideas and activities
* Teachers must go through the WA Football Commission’s Induction to be recognised as an AFL School Ambassador. Schools may have more than one AFLSA.
