Western Australia had a great carnival winning 4 out of the 5 matches, only losing to Vic Metro in the grand final by 17 points and took home a silver medal. All three West Perth District players Jordan Lockyer(Joondalup Kinross JFC), Shane Nelson(Edgewater Woodvale JFC) and Cody Wilks (Kingsley JFC) made significant contributions to the team and all felt the experience was a significant step forward in their development and looked forward to implementing what they had learnt to West Perth development squads in the October school holidays. A special mention must be made to Jordan Lockyer (far right) and Shane Nelson (second left) as they were recognised for their outstanding carnival with being named in the All Australian team, it is a fantastic effort and the West Perth Football Club and the West Perth District congratulate you on your award and for all three making the State Schoolboys Team.
