Swan District Football Club invites West Perth Members and families to Steel Blue Oval, Saturday 21 April.

Family fun to celebrate the Anzac spirit at Swans

Bring the kids to join in the free fun and games at the Swan Districts ANZAC Day celebration against West Perth on Saturday 21 April at Steel Blue Oval, Bassendean. We have 8 vintage military vehicles transporting ANZAC Veterans onto Steel Blue Oval joined by over 100 navy cadets. If you know of any Swans or West Perth past players that are still with us and fought in a war, please let us know. We would love them to join in the on ground promotion.

The Swans Play Zone was a hit at the club’s first game. All kids can join in the following free games and activities from 1pm – a laser tag game, bucking bull ride, 2 lane bungee run, bouncy castles, and giant games. There’ll also be a drawing table, face painting and a handball competition in the second quarter for a chance to win prizes. The club’s female footballers will also be on hand signing posters.

The Swans League players will be giving out another 50 free mini footies prior to the game, there’ll be buskers at both entry gates and at half time every supporter will have the chance to win $100 cash in the Bin It To Win It competition held in the centre square (you need to bring a footy to join in). There’s also a Pie and Beer promotion for the adults with the chance to compete in the CUB Schooner race at three quarter time.

Everyone’s also welcome to join the supporters upstairs after the game in the main bar for the player presentations (Colts, Reserves and League). There’ll be live music and the chance to buy a meal before the presentations begin at 6pm.
