More than 350 kids descended on Arena Joondalup last week for the Smarter than Smoking Fly Like a Falcon July School Holiday Clinics.
A busy week of holiday clinics started on Tuesday 6th with 250 Auskickers (Pre-Primary - Year 3) particpants, coached by West Perth League and Colts players attending to participate in this years clinics. Each budding footballers was coached with key development skills including kicking, marking & ball skills and given the opportunity to particpate in a series of fun "footy learning" games.
The week continued for the 2 day Junior clinic held over Wednesday and Thursday with another 110 particpants. The junior clinic increases the skill education with a heavy focus on team work.
The clinics provide an ideal opportunity for kids to particpate in a fun football holiday clinic. The clinics cater for all levels and by all accounts everyone had a great time.

The Falcons Holdiay clinics in 2010exceeded participation expectations with close to 650 participants over the April and July Periods. In 2010 the West Perth Football District has handed out 500 junior West Perth Jerseys to particpants and another 200 pairs of Falcons Footy socks and Falcons Football. This is a fantatsic legacy for 2010 and a major boost to the West Perth Football Club as it aims to bosst junior membership numbers.
The clinics will be back again in 2011...watch this space!
